Jumpstart

Welcome to jumpstart!

Did the London Bridge really fall down? Why is it called the United Kingdom? Who united the kingdom in the first place? Are all taxis in London black? Do the Brits really drink a liter of tea in a day? Why is center spelled centre, practice as practise, and spelled as spelt? Were you one of those people who started taaaawking like Harry Pottah after watching the film?

If these questions ever crossed your mind (or you've answered "Yes" to the last one), then you may be, perhaps, a closet Anglophile. Not sure what that means? Well then, read on and get a jumpstart into everything British!

PHILOSOPHY

We created this site to help our trainees familiarise themselves more about the UK as well as its people, culture, food, government, lifestyle, holidays, and everything British. Please take note that we don't own the rights to any of the images, videos and write-ups posted on this page. We however, are firm believers that knowledge should be shared.
